A little hard to find if you don’t know the location. Atmosphere is lovely, set inside an old Japanese house. Food is organic, health conscious seasonal dishes presented in a traditional Japanese style.

I can definitely bump it up to a strong four stars now that I got a chance to visit. However my detailed updated review was going to Tabelog or Yelp... My original review is below, but this is also a meta-review of Google Maps, and not a favorable one. I'll go ahead and give it a weak and rather speculative four stars. Google Maps was a specifically confusing and didn't even notice when I had gotten there. The explanation from Google Maps must have been referring to something about a confusing schedule, because right now they aren't serving coffee. They are open and she seemed friendly, and I could see customers are inside, too, but she said I couldn't get coffee for another hour. Looks like it would have been a nice place to study for a bit, but it can't be helped as they say.

A rare glimpse into Tokyo’s past. A beautifully kept traditional house and the perfect example where old meets new. At the front you may explore a small curiosity shop, filled with carefully selected items that are kind to the environment and yourself. At the back you may enjoy a delicious meal with a drink or just read a book with a good cup of coffee. I wish there were more places like this around.

Quiet old Japanese house turned into a cafe + shop. Seating is limited to make sure to make reservations in advance. Quite an experience! Staff is friendly but there is a time limit on how long you can stay. Make sure you get going before your time is up and staff will stay friendly.

Great cafe that has it all. Great food, drinks, environment, service, and cats. We came around 2 and waited for around 20 min, which was around the time the place started to empty out a bit. There were open seats when we finished eating, so we decided to stay a while. Perfect time and place to chill. The curry was delicious, but a little spicy for me since I can’t handle anything spicy. The ginger milk and cheesecake were both excellent. If you like cinnamon and ginger, try these! The cats were a lovely bonus.
